Are you an experienced child care professional with a Diploma-level qualification seeking to enhance your career experiences?
Working at the bestchance Children's Centre will provide you with opportunities to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to explore innovative practices that are fully inclusive, family-centred and child focused.
Responisble for a room of 25 children aged around three years old, you will be a team leader and a role model.
Pay and Conditions are as per the Children's Services award but tax effective Salary Sacrifice is available after the completion of your probationary period to increase your take-home pay.

Kindergarten Teacher

- Start Term 2, 2010
Would you enjoy the challenge of delivering an innovative program that meets the needs of children with diverse needs?
We are seeking applicants with a kindergarten qualification recognised in Victoria. Experience with children from different cultural backgrounds and with different developmental needs would be an advantage.
Two positions located separately in the Dandenong area are available. Applicants may be interested in only one position or can apply for them both.
The two kindergartens have recently joined the bestchance Cluster resulting in all staff being responsible to the Cluster Manager rather than than a parent committee.
Position 1 - 4YO teacher and Primary Nominee. 17.5 hours per week Contract until the end of 2010. Contact Time totals 10 hours (Tues 8.15am-12.30pm, Wed 12.30pm-4.15pm, Thurs 8.15am-12.30pm) Preparation time based on VECTAA is 6hrs with an additional 1.5 hrs management support
Position 2 - 4YO teacher - 16 hours per week. Ongoing position. Contact time totals 10 hours (Tues 1.00pm-4.00pm, Wed 8.30-12.00, Fri 8.30-12.00) Preparation based on VECTAA is 6hrs.Conditions will be as specified in the VECTA Agreement . Tax Effective Salary Sacrifice is also available.
