Parents Return to Earnings
The Victorian Government provides grants to eligible people returning to work. These funds can be used to cover any costs associated with approved training. For information about your eligibility please visit the Parent Return to Earnings website.
Centrelink
Centrelink offers schemes for adults in study, training or looking for work. If you are an Indigenous student ABSTUDY may help you stay in training or go on to further studies.
All accredited courses delivered by bestchance Training are Centrelink approved to enable eligible students to continue receiving benefits whilst undertaking studies.
ACFE (Adult, Community and Further Education)
All of the following courses are subsidised by ACFE to enable students who are ineligible to access Skills Victoria funding to particiapte in training courses at a reduced rate -
Certificate III in Aged Care
Certificate III in Children's Services
Certificate III in Home and Community Care
Certificate III in Education Support
Office Computer Skills
Concessions
Concessions on tuition fees are available for government funded training places in all course categories except Skills Deepening (Diplomas and above). The fee concession is available to people who hold a Commonwealth Health Care Card, a Pensioner Concession Card or a Veteran's Gold Card.
Student concession cards are available for students, they entitle the cardholder to purchase Metcards at a reduced rate for public transport within Victoria. Applications are available from staffed train stations, selected bus depots and online at the Metlink website.
